Logistics, ‘Stache-giving, etc.

Dear All Lovers of Mustaches and Charity,

Sooooo, we just want to apologize to anyone out there who was super psyched to come to Checkpoint 2 and was put off by the fact that the bar we chose for the gathering of ‘Staches and Friends, is in fact closed on Tuesdays.  Ha! Our bad. We ended up across the street at The Blaguard, but I think the group really felt the absence of our Brothers and Sisters in the ‘Stache.

But on to more felicitous occurrences. ‘Stache-giving has come and gone once again…Uncle Blackheart didn’t give us any money this year, but but we did learn a valuable lesson: Don’t use your “soup strainer” as a soup strainer. The mess and mental scars it causes are not worth the gurgles of glee you get for 2 minutes before your mom comes back into the room.

How much did our ‘Stacheketeers raise while making the trip back to the old homestead? How much did our Sympathizers donate? How close are we to our goal of $60,000 for the Kiddos at Children’s? Let us hear from you!!!
